Job description

Looking for an opportunity to complete your Independent Prescribing?

A Southampton pharmacy team is now seeking an ambitious Pharmacist to join them and train up to IP level to support expanded health and wellbeing services in the area.

The pharmacy is closely linked to local primary care services and is looking forward to an exciting project that would see the team expand the services available in-store and support increased access to treatment for common health conditions outside of a GP surgery.

As a Pharmacist, you will be central to the team. You’ll get involved both NHS and non-NHS services – including Pharmacy First, vaccinations, health checks, blood tests, emergency contraception, and more – and specialise in a particular area of clinical / therapeutic practice as part of your IP course.

This is an excellent opportunity to provide enhanced pharmacy care, to develop competence and expertise in advanced areas, and contribute to community‑focused initiatives alongside a strong team of pharmacy professionals.

This is a permanent Pharmacist position.
