Job description
PFI Monitoring Officer (Hard FM)

Reporting to the PFI contracts manager to support the PFI Contract monitoring officer with the programme of coordination and delivery of the compliance responsibilities and provide assurance that effective and responsive processes are maintained across the Barts Trust sites.

Responsibilities
  • Process incoming PFI variation requests, forward them to the Trust PFI Representative, and work closely with the management team to improve the quality and compliance of E&F PFI service delivery.
  • liaise where necessary to obtain information from the PFI SPV management company and their sub‑contractors on Estates related issues.
  • Support the PFI Associate Director in monitoring and overseeing risk and governance processes and reporting systems, ensuring that Trust policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Audit, monitor and record the rectification of any service failure provided by the sub‑contractor or Trust team.
  • Maintain and update shared‑drive directories and project documentary management systems and record systems.
  • Produce regular audit reports on the performance standards of all Hard FM contracts, covering contractual compliance, service failures and rectification methods, recording the application of non‑compliance and penalty deductions in favour of the Trust, and cross‑referencing this data with the Unitary Invoice to ensure compliance.
