Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Assistant Manager for their hybrid office in Sevenoaks. The candidate will prepare and review Personal Tax Returns, assist non-tax specialists with queries, and ensure compliance and advisory roles. Candidates should be studying towards ATT/CTA or have significant tax experience. The role offers an above-average holiday allowance, group life assurance, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Studying towards ATT/CTA or recently qualified.
  • Proven track record in a practice environment.
  • Experience in capital taxes would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Personal Tax Returns.
  • Review Personal Tax Returns prepared by others.
  • Assist colleagues with tax queries.
  • Ensure General Tax Compliance and provide advisory support.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join a Top 100 firm in their Sevenoaks office on a hybrid basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Personal Tax Return preparation
  • Reviewing Personal Tax Returns prepared by other members of the practice
  • Assisting non tax specialist colleagues with tax queries
  • General Tax Compliance with elements of advisory as well
Work Experience & Requirements:
  • Studying towards ATT/CTA or recently qualified (accountancy professionals with at least 3 years general tax experience will also be considered).
  • Proven track record in a practice environment
  • Ability to work unaided to strict deadlines
  • High level of computing skills
  • Accept instruction from senior personnel
  • Ability to research and interpret tax legislation
  • Experience in capital taxes would be advantageous
