A leading insurance company is looking for a Personal Lines Underwriter in Chelmsford. In this hybrid role, you will manage broker enquiries, deliver exemplary service, and utilize technical underwriting knowledge. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, is organized, and possesses good numerical abilities. We have a fantastic new opportunity as a Personal Lines Underwriter. This phone-based role offers the perfect gateway into the insurance industry, giving you the chance to develop valuable skills while working at the heart of broker relationships.
You’ll be the first point of contact for broker underwriting and technical referrals, ensuring queries are resolved quickly and effectively. You’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to brokers and supporting the achievement of our Personal Lines trading objectives.
This is a hybrid role, which requires travel to our Chelmsford office once per week.
Pay: Circa £26,400.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
