Personal Care Assistant for a lady who lives in the Trimdon area £13.00 per hour

Personal Care Assistant required for a lady who lives in the Trimdon area.

4‑6 hours per week and extra hours to cover holidays and other absences. PA is required to provide support to a lady with a visual impairment.

Wage rate £13.00 per hour.

Duties include:

• Help and support with grocery shopping either online or in supermarket.
• Help and support getting to and during outdoor activities with eight‑year‑old son.
• Support getting to and attending social activities.
• Help and support getting to and attending health and fitness activities.
• Help reading post and any other information that may be in print and inaccessible.
• Support with any other shopping.
• Assistance with odd jobs around the house.
• Support and assistance when free running guide dog.
• Assistance on outdoor activities e.g. walks.
• Assistance to, from and during appointments.
• Occasional assistance with cleaning and clearing in the house if needed.
• Assistance with small DIY jobs in the house.

Experience preferred but not essential.

Successful applicants will be required to have an enhanced DBS check carried out prior to commencement.
