Job description

Overview

Female Personal Care Assistant required for Chester le Street area to assist a lady in a wheelchair. Duties involve bathing, dressing, meal prep, some cooking and light household tasks. Must hold clean driving licence.

Schedule

Monday, Thursday and Saturday mornings 9:00 – 12:00 (3 hrs per shift). Monday and Tuesday overnight sleep 9 hrs per shift. Must be able to cover for holidays where possible. A further position is available for 2 hours in the afternoon each day.

Pay

Wage £13.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Clean driving licence
• Successful applicants may be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check paid for by the employer prior to commencing work
• Nursing background would be an advantage. However training will be given.
