Personal Assistant/Support Worker – 33 hours per month plus sleepovers

Personal Development Worker required for a young man in his mid-20s and living in Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire. Friends and family describe him as funny, loving and caring, he loves to laugh and make others laugh. He likes to meet up with friends, go bowling and go out to quiz nights. Enjoys a walk and keeping fit, going swimming, playing badminton and crazy golf. Also enjoys volunteering to help the elderly and young people. His true passion is film making and creating animation and of course he loves to go to the cinema.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance and support to the young man in daily living and personal development.
• Assist with transportation to social events and other outings.
• Support the individual with independent living tasks and accompany to activities.
• Provide overnight care from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Kind, caring, flexible and trustworthy.
• Experience or interest in supporting people with personal development.
• Driver with access to own vehicle preferred; mileage allowance will be paid.

Hours and Pay

• 33 hours per month, plus overnight shifts from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.
• Rate of pay: £12.60 per hour.
• Sleepover pay: £69.00.
