Job details: I am a family-oriented person with 4 children (two children living at home) and a dog. Due to back problems and various physical health issues, it has caused me to have limited mobility. I am looking to recruit a personal assistant who can provide support with maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of my home and garden, ensuring the living environment remains tidy and comfortable.

• Domestic duties - Carrying items up and down stairs, light housework, and general upkeep around the home.
• Meal preparation
• Attend occasional appointments, although I can drive myself.
• Gardening - Support with mowing lawn and weed control
• Support with grocery shopping i.e. carry shopping bags

Summary terms and conditions:

• The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour
• Hours and times of work: 4hrs weekly on a flexible basis.
• Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position.
• The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
• Access to free FLICK training for employed workers.
• If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.

The post is subject to the following:

• A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
• Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
• Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
