Audhd adult with a dynamic disability seeking a compassionate, reliable, and neurodivergent-aware Personal Assistant to provide 1:1 practical and emotional support. Car driver with own vehicle preferred. I have a dog and 3 cats so PA must be comfortable around animals. 8 hour allocation for support per week and some flexibility around days and times to be discussed.

Main Duties
  • Support to get out to appointments, shops, or community activities such as gardening groups
  • Emotional regulation support during periods of overwhelm or anxiety
  • Sensory support (help with navigating or managing sensory environments as I have misophonia/ cptsd)
  • Executive functioning support (planning, organising, prompting, prioritising tasks)
  • Advocacy or liaison with services or professionals as appropriate
Essential

  • Comfortable working flexibly around fluctuating needs

Desirable Experience (but not essential)
  • Background in mental health, care work, or support work, familiar with dynamic disability/ energy management (fibromyalgia/ chronic fatigue)
  • First aid or basic mental health training
