The role involves supporting the implementation of self-administration by patients and/or carers and managing the medication supply pathway efficiently, including the transfer of medicines between wards. The Clinical Pharmacy Technician will actively participate in patient counseling, obtain specific accreditations for oral chemotherapy counseling, and liaise with ward and pharmacy staff to address technical queries or problems with patients, referring to the ward pharmacist when necessary.
