LEAD NURSE/ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER – PERMANENT
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Lead Nurse/Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work within a hospital in Central London. The primary focus of the role is to work closely with the Local Clinical Director and Operational Team to provide high quality and timely patient centered care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of leadership, management and training of a multi-disciplinary team of non-medical clinicians, undertaking a range of duties including clinical streaming, triage, assessment, diagnosis and treatment and redirection to suitable alternative services.
The team manages a diverse range of patients with minor injuries/minor illnesses, within their level of competence and agreed protocols.
In addition to the leadership and management requirements, the role includes up to 50% of working as an autonomous clinical practitioner utilizing a full range of skills in the management of minor injuries and minor illness.
The ideal candidate will work at an advanced level of clinical practice and in addition will have previous experience of managing a clinical service and a keen interest in service and professional development.
