Critical Care Pharmacist | Band 7 | Nottingham | 22.5 hours per week

Dream Medical is currently working with a private client who has expanded its services and opened a brand-new Critical Care Unit – as such we have an opportunity for an experienced Critical Care Pharmacist to join the team and be part of this exciting period of growth.

This Nottingham Hospital is the only CQC Outstanding rated private hospital in Nottinghamshire and are committed to delivering excellent individual care from the first time a patient contacts them until after their treatment is complete. Their state of the art, purpose built hospital located in Tollerton, has 42 private ensuite rooms, 4 theatres including a hybrid theatre, a minor ops suite in Outpatients, 11 day case beds, endoscopy suite, on-site MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound and mammography, physiotherapy, pharmacy and 300 free car parking spaces.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Provide a first-class clinical pharmacy service for Level 2 & 3 CCU patients, working closely with consultants and the wider CCU team.
  • Play an active role in developing the new CCU service and take ownership in key areas for the hospital.
  • Train other Pharmacists to cover in the CCU.
  • During downtime in CCU, support other areas such as the dispensary or ward rounds to keep skills up to date in all aspects of Clinical Pharmacy.
  • Initially part-time with hours expected to increase as the service grows; flexibility with days and shifts required.
Who we\'re looking for
  • GPhC registered Pharmacist.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Critical Care Pharmacist, as you will be the sole CCU pharmacist on site; current CCU work experience is a necessity.
