A local government office in Scotland is seeking a skilled individual to manage activities in a production kitchen and oversee catering services for various functions. Ideal candidates will have experience in kitchen management and effective organization skills. This position requires compliance with child protection regulations under the PVG Act. The role operates during standard hours, Monday to Friday, providing ample work-life balance opportunities.
Responsible for all activities in a production kitchen and manage the provision of catering services within the principal production unit and other satellite units.
Organise and participate in internal and external function catering as required and arrange transportation of meals and functions as appropriate.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
