Full-Time Performing Arts Coach - Northampton

Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunities

Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic Performing Arts Coach with a passion for inspiring young people through drama, dance, and performance?

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a number of vibrant secondary schools in the Northampton area who are seeking a full-time Performing Arts Coach to join their expressive arts departments from September 2025. These long-term positions are ideal for individuals with experience in drama, dance, or musical theatre who are eager to engage students in creative, practical, and inclusive learning experiences. In this exciting role, you\'ll deliver high-quality Performing Arts sessions across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in developing confidence, teamwork, and performance skills both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering engaging and inclusive practical sessions in drama, dance, and/or performance
  • Supporting curriculum-based Performing Arts lessons in collaboration with teaching staff
  • Leading or assisting with extra-curricular clubs, rehearsals, and school productions
  • Encouraging creativity, collaboration, and self-expression among students
  • Helping to organise and deliver school performances and showcase events
Qualifications & Fit
  • Have experience coaching or teaching Performing Arts to young people (school, youth theatre, or community setting)
  • Hold a relevant qualification in Drama, Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field
  • Are passionate about using the arts to build students\' confidence and communication skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and a positive, energetic approach
  • Are confident managing groups of young people and delivering structured sessions
