Location: London (remote, but role will involve on‑site work)

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £27,500 pa

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.

You will work up to 42 weekend days across the year (with strict Time Off in Lieu; e.g. if you work a Saturday, you’ll receive the following Monday off, etc.).

30 days holiday per year (bank holidays not automatically included).

We are now looking for a proactive and organised Staffing Coordinator to join our operations team in Bristol. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to grow your career while being at the heart of the events and hospitality industry.

Position Overview

As a People Operations Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end process of staffing events. From onboarding and compliance checks to scheduling shifts and supporting staff on‑site, you’ll ensure that our clients have the best teams in place for seamless event delivery.

You’ll be part of a supportive office team in Bristol, working closely with the rest of the team and our large network of casual workers. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing & Scheduling: Matching staff to client requirements and placing them into shifts.
  • Communication: Sharing shift details, role expectations, and updates with staff to ensure they are fully prepared.
  • Onboarding & Compliance: Conducting Right to Work checks and ensuring all legal and regulatory standards are met.
  • Recruitment & Advertising: Promoting roles to attract new talent and maintaining a strong pipeline of staff.
  • Attendance & Reliability: Managing reminders, check‑ins, and see‑offs to maximise shift attendance.
  • On‑Site Support: Coordinating teams at events, ensuring smooth arrivals and operations.
  • Out-of-Hours Support: Handling urgent staffing queries and last‑minute changes when required.
  • Operations Support: Maintaining records, processing admin, and supporting portfolios as needed.
Skills & Experience
  • A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • A keen interest in the events and hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferred but not essential).
  • Must have a valid UK drivers licence and be willing to drive.
  • A willingness to work weekends, early mornings and evenings as and when needed.
  • Ambition to grow and develop in your role and career.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast‑paced environments.
