Salary: £65,516 - £68,119 (Inclusive of 25% market supplement)

Wiltshire Pension Fund - Driving Financial Resilience

Our dynamic Wiltshire Pension Fund Management team are on the lookout for a Fund Governance Manager!

The Wiltshire Pension Fund administers pensions on behalf of around 180 different employer organisations, ranging from local authorities, FE colleges, academies, charities and third-party service providers. The Pension Team is responsible for the governance and administration of the Wiltshire Pension Fund.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and review all governance arrangements and objectives for the Wiltshire Pension Fund.
  • Work collaboratively across the Pension Fund to ensure governance matters are understood and embedded, including policy compliance and implementation of internal audit actions.
  • Lead on GDPR requirements, ensuring compliance is achieved, with any breaches accurately recorded and reported per statutory guidelines.
  • Ensure change requirements are implemented efficiently.
  • Ensure the Fund is operating correctly from an audit perspective and maintain compliance with current regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the Fund’s contracts.
Qualifications and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience administering a large defined benefit pension scheme.
  • Extensive, proven knowledge of LGPS Regulations, Committee management and national LGPS governance standards.
  • Strong understanding of business planning, procurement and compliance standards.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programmes for a diverse audience.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate colleagues to collaborate and drive change.

This position comes with a 25% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
