Overview

PE Teacher Needed - September 2025 Start

Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and dedicated PE Teacher, to start in September.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment in PE
• Provide dynamic and ambitious teaching practice to build on the subject's current success and ensure good progress for all pupils
• Support pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs
• Demonstrate a proven history of securing excellent pupil results in PE GCSE exams

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (to be offered supply teaching work)
• Previous experience working in a UK school is ideal
• Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential)
• Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks
• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
