Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring PE Teacher to join a school team starting September 2025. You will deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable), promoting physical development, health, and wellbeing among students.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school requirements.
  • Promote positive attitudes to health, fitness, and physical activity.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
  • Lead and support extra-curricular sports activities, including clubs, fixtures, and tournaments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop PE schemes of work and share best practice.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching PE across multiple key stages, preferably KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as PE Teacher.
  • Passion for promoting physical activity and wellbeing in young people.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
