We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a secondary school on a maternity cover basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality physical education lessons, inspiring students to develop their fitness, teamwork and sporting skills.
Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with the national curriculum.
Encourage participation in a range of sports and physical activities, promoting health and wellbeing.
Organise and lead extracurricular clubs, teams and sporting events where required.
Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support each student’s development.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Physical Education.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills as a PE Teacher.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
