Payroll Team Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Supervisor to manage a team of up to 6 Payroll Advisors. The role involves leading team meetings, conducting 1:1s, and allocating work to ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Payroll Manager in overseeing all aspects related to people, processes, and technology.
  2. Ensure standard operating procedures are regularly reviewed, updated, and adhered to by the team.
  3. Actively participate in processing weekly and monthly payroll for UK employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Manage work allocation, payroll queries, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  5. Maintain compliance with payroll tax laws and regulations, specifically for Ireland and HMRC.
  6. Handle payroll escalations, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolutions.
  7. Collaborate with the Time and Attendance team and local HR teams to ensure accurate information submission.
  8. Promote strong team collaboration and achieve related objectives.
  9. Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in managing a payroll team.
  • Proficiency in SAP Payroll software.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll tax laws and HMRC regulations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
