Here at GXO, we are looking for a Payroll Management Partner. You'll play a key role in providing high-quality payroll processing, across complex payrolls of up to 13,000, and query resolution for colleagues and managers across the full employee lifecycle. You'll ensure compliance, accuracy, and exceptional service, helping to position GXO as a destination employer.

This is a full-time permanent position. The role is remote with occasional travel to site. You'll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00 or 08:00-16:00. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £32,320 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on payroll queries, policies, and systems to managers and colleagues
  • Process payroll data accurately and on time, meeting agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion
  • Monitor and track payroll activities, proactively resolving issues before they impact deadlines
  • Support key activities such as end-of-year reporting, pay reviews, and HRIS updates
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Strong payroll knowledge and experience managing large, multi-frequency payrolls
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS/Payroll systems
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a logical, practical approach
  • A customer-focused mindset with great communication and influencing skills
