A well-established accountancy practice in York is looking for a Payroll & Bookkeeping Assistant. This full-time role involves processing payrolls, maintaining records, and assisting with bookkeeping duties across a diverse client portfolio. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of UK payroll procedures and have prior experience in an accountancy practice. The position offers a hybrid working model, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and a supportive team environment.
Payroll & Bookkeeping Assistant
Location: York (City Centre) - Hybrid working (2 days from home)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with an hour for lunch (35 hour week)
