Job summary

A major pharmaceutical company is seeking a Patient Solutions Manager for Cardiometabolic Health in Basingstoke. The role involves delivering a digital patient support programme and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry, and experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats. This position offers a hybrid work model: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice.
  • Experience in managing patient support programmes is preferred.

Salary: £20.84–£27.18 per hour PAYE

Contract Details

Contract basis for 12 months.

Patient Solutions Manager (Cardiometabolic Health) Role
  • Will deliver an innovative digital patient support programme in weight management
  • Act as the single point of contact for the Patient Support Programme (PSP), managing the partnership with the vendor and coordinating all internal stakeholders
  • Oversee the vendor's delivery of the digital platform, ensuring all contractual, compliance, and governance requirements are met (ABPI, MHRA, GDPR, pharmacovigilance, NHS)
  • Own the end-to-end process for Veeva Vault Promomats uploads, reviewer assignment, referencing, certification, and asset lifecycle management for all programme materials
  • Collaborate with the brand team and wider cross-functional team to ensure all content aligns with strategic objectives, integrates seamlessly with existing patient resources, and that dissemination plans complement current resource distribution channels
Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, patient support programmes, or healthcare sectors; cardiometabolic therapy experience strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice, with preference for experience on working on patient support programmes, package deals and donations & sponsorship
  • Proficiency in Veeva Vault PromoMats or comparable systems
  • Demonstrated success in building cross‑functional relationships
