A leading NHS Hospital in Bath is looking for a Patient Pathway Coordinator to join their Oncology and Haematology Department. This exciting role involves comprehensive administrative support, managing patient correspondence, and liaising with healthcare teams to ensure timely patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong office administration experience and a passion for patient-centered care within a dynamic work environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Patient Pathway Team as an integral part of the Oncology and Haematology Department. You will provide a comprehensive administrative service, supporting the reception booking team, consultants, clinicians, CNS and Pharmacy teams and act as a central point of communication for patients and staff. In this role, you will develop a detailed understanding of pathways for both routine elective and cancer patients, ensuring you know where each patient is in their journey. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, which includes managing correspondence, appointments, and records, ordering diagnostic tests, and liaising with consultants to minimise delays in care. This is a busy and dynamic department where there is always something new to learn - we can promise you will never be bored!
