Overview

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Pathfinders Policy Project Lead to work full time (Fixed Term 2 Years) based in Redbridge. The salary for this permanent Pathfinders Policy Project Lead job is up to £52,194 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Take a lead role in framing and delivering strategic projects, working collaboratively with colleagues within the council and our wider partners.
  • Provide guidance and support to the implementation of the council's equalities action plan.
  • Develop and coordinate public consultation and engagement activities to enable local communities to influence and shape proposals and services.
  • Work in an agile, project-based way across the whole range of the directorate's responsibilities.
  • Support the development of external partnership relationships and collaboration with the voluntary, community and public sectors.
  • Develop key corporate strategies in collaboration with relevant service departments, partners and the public.
  • Monitor, report and evaluate the impact of corporate aims and initiatives.
  • Work with service departments to identify improvements, remove barriers to progress and problem solving.
  • Assess the potential impact and implications of government legislation and policy direction and form recommendations appropriate to the specific circumstances of Redbridge.
  • Provide briefings to Management Team, service departments and members on the implications of national and regional policy.
  • Undertake research and consultation with residents to better understand their opinions, aspirations and priorities.
  • Provide policy advice on excellent equalities practice to inform service planning and delivery.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
  • Take responsibility for continuing self-development and participate in training and development activities.
  • The above-mentioned duties are neither exclusive nor exhaustive. From time to time you may be required to undertake responsibilities outside the normal remit of your Job Description as required by the Line Manager.
