About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Patent Administrator or an experienced support professional looking to step up into a Patent Paralegal role. You will be providing high level formalities and administrative support to Patent Attorneys across a diverse patent portfolio, gaining exposure to both UK and European procedures. The role offers the chance to develop your career in a fast paced and professional environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Managing patent formalities throughout the patent life cycle
  • Preparing and filing patent applications and associated documentation
  • Handling UK, EPO and international patent procedures
  • Monitoring deadlines and maintaining accurate records on internal systems
  • Liaising with Patent Attorneys, clients and overseas associates
  • Preparing reports and correspondence for clients
  • Supporting the team with general patent administration and compliance
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Patent Administrator, Paralegal, or in a similar patent support role
  • Strong interest in developing into a Patent Paralegal position
  • Knowledge of UK and European patent procedures is desirable
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with patent management systems is advantageous
