We are recruiting a passionate, experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our established team at the Bedruthan Hotel. You will play a key role in delivering our carefully crafted menus, inspired by the seasons and our specialist Cornish growers, farmers, and fishermen. With a focus on patisserie, you will help elevate our food offering to the next level.

Our ideal candidate will be articulate, well presented, and driven, with a natural tendency to do everything to the best of their ability. You will be confident running a section and consistently deliver to a high standard. Always a team player, you will seek to evolve and contribute to a safe and positive working environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting food in accordance with agreed restaurant standards and recipes
  • Managing a pastry section and working in a clean, tidy and organised manner
  • Assisting with stock management including rotation, daily checks, and regular stock taking
  • Supporting a safe working culture and ensuring compliance with food hygiene (HACCP) and safety regulations
  • Contributing to a varied food offering including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and small functions
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality hotel (4-star or higher) or restaurant to at least Demi-CDP level
  • Skilled in patisserie and confident across other areas of food preparation
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene and safety regulations

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen is required for this role. We will continue to provide the training and development you need to progress and expand your skills.
