  • Crisis and Behaviour Management: Utilize your expertise in de‑escalation techniques and restorative practices to manage complex and challenging behaviour incidents effectively and calmly.
  • Liaison and Advocacy: Act as a key link between the school, parents/carers, and external agencies (e.g., social services, CAMHS), informed by your knowledge of safeguarding and multi‑agency working from the care sector.
  • Well‑being Programme: Plan and deliver targeted intervention programmes focused on building self‑esteem, improving social skills, and promoting resilience.
  • Attendance & Engagement: Proactively monitor attendance and develop strategies to address non‑engagement, ensuring students feel safe and motivated to attend the academy.
What We Are Looking For

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, necessary for writing detailed records, reports, and liaising with professionals.
  • Safeguarding: A robust understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection legislation.

  • Meaningful Role: Work where your specialist knowledge makes an immediate and visible difference to student stability and progress.
