Overview

Pedmore High School is a thriving, inclusive school with a strong commitment to supporting all students in achieving their full potential.

As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will support students with personal, social, developmental and behavioural problems to help them identify and realise their full potential both inside and outside school. You will also support the team on a day‑to‑day basis, providing administration as directed.

Responsibilities
  • Support students with personal, social, developmental and behavioural problems to help them identify and realise their full potential inside and outside school.
  • Provide daily support and administration to the pastoral team as directed.
Requirements
  • Regulated activity with children on a daily basis.
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS check, including the Children’s Barred List, via an online DBS application.
  • Verification through the DfE’s Check a Teacher’s Record (for applicable roles).
  • Application will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of identity checks, online checks, verification of professional qualifications and references.
  • Not barred from working with children (it is a criminal offence to apply if barred).
