Job summary

A leading airport services company is seeking a Passenger Service Agent at Edinburgh Airport to assist passengers with restricted mobility. Responsibilities include meeting and greeting passengers, supporting them throughout the airport, and ensuring equipment is clean. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask. Previous experience in airport services is an advantage, and a full UK driving license is desirable. This position offers a day rate of £12.95 and a night shift pay of £13.45.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM).
  • Assist Passengers with Restricted Mobility at various points in the airport.
  • Transfer passengers safely from aircraft to the terminal.
  • Ensure cleanliness of wheelchairs and buggies.
  • Update Centralised Control on progress using IT handsets.
  • Complete necessary paperwork legibly and promptly.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Passenger Service Agent - Restricted Mobility - Edinburgh Airport

Shifts: 4 ON 2 OFF DAYS 03:00 AM - 23:00 PM. DAY RATE PAY: £12.95

Shifts: 4 ON 4 OFF NIGHTS 20:00 PM - 08:00 AM. NIGHT SHIFT PAY: £13.45

Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM)
  • Assist Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) at drop off/pick up points, airline check‑In, airport security and pre‑boarding aircraft.
  • Assist in the transfer of passengers from aircraft to airport terminal using various equipment in a safe manner.
  • Ensure that wheelchairs and buggies are always clean and tidy.
  • Ensure that Centralised Control is updated on progress using IT handsets.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed legibly and submitted promptly.
  • Any additional reasonable duties as assigned by operational management.
