Job summary

A company in the energy assessment sector is seeking experienced Retrofit Assessors / Technical Surveyors to produce high-quality retrofit assessments and carry out technical surveys on domestic properties throughout the Northeast of England. Candidates must have relevant qualifications and a full UK driving license, along with strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach. Flexible working is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving license.
• Ideally be Gas Safe registered and have experience working with gas appliances.
• Must be qualified with one of the approved member bodies (Stroma, Elmhurst, ECMK etc).
• Must have or be willing to do a basic DBS check before starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Produce a high-quality PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment.
• Understand ECO and the requirements of ECO funding.
• Prepare reports and make energy performance recommendations.
• Carry out technical surveys on domestic boilers.
• Liaise with assessors, customers, and installers.

Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment

PAS 2035 and Retrofit Assessment accreditation
