A leading automotive company in the UK is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the setup and operations of a new Parts business. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of automotive parts. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years in Vehicle Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor role.

Overview

A unique opportunity to help us set-up a new Parts business, then assume full managerial responsibility for it!

In 2026, a key element of our growth transition is to bring UK Parts distribution inhouse. We therefore need an experienced Parts manager, ready to roll their sleeves up during the set-up phase, and then capable of driving sales, delivering growth, and focusing on customer service.

This new role gives the successful candidate scope to make it their own. The day to day content will include:

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the parts department
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and coordinate timely ordering of parts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Lead and develop the parts team, ensuring high levels of accuracy and customer service
  • Monitor performance and implement strategies as required to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal partners, both the UK and Spanish parent business
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience and capability in a Vehicle Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor role (minimum 3-5 years)
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts (bus & coach experience highly desirable)
  • A natural leader with the ability to inspire and manage a team
  • Committed to maintaining excellence in service, accuracy, and performance
  • Customer-focused with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confident using parts management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business
