Job description
Role Overview

The Band 4 Participation and Co‑production Coordinator plays a vital role championing inclusive involvement across the Trust. Working within the Patient Experience Team, the post holder will support and coordinate meaningful opportunities for people with lived experience to shape the planning, delivery and improvement of services. The role is based at County Hall, Norwich and involves attending team anchor days and supporting workshops, events or community meetings as required.

Responsibilities
  • Champion inclusive involvement across the Trust.
  • Support and coordinate meaningful opportunities for people with lived experience to shape the planning, delivery and improvement of services.
  • Ensure participation activities are accessible, well‑organised and aligned with Trust values and policies.
  • Act as the welcoming first point of contact – register individuals, maintain accurate records and support recruitment to the involvement register.
  • Embed co‑production principles with staff, offering guidance and resources that promote equality, diversity and shared decision‑making.
  • Deliver training to participants, including Values‑Based Recruitment and co‑production workshops.
  • Provide day‑to‑day supervision for an Administrator.
  • Coordinate the practical elements of events and sessions – venues, technology, materials and access support.
  • Maintain accurate records of involvement activities, manage the registration process and coordinate attendance at meetings and workshops.
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies on safeguarding, data protection, inclusion and reimbursement.
  • Prepare documentation for governance purposes, support internal reporting and draft communications to promote involvement opportunities.
  • Act as an ambassador for participation – attend events, deliver training and help staff understand their responsibilities around co‑production.
  • Contribute to developing tools and resources, maintain team platforms and support feedback processes such as the Friends and Family Test.
  • Engage in continuous learning and share insights to improve participation practices.
