A recruitment agency is looking for a Part Time Payroll Coordinator in Aberdeen City to manage the timely delivery of onshore and offshore payroll. Job description

Part Time Payroll Coordinator required to manage the accurate and timely delivery of monthly onshore and offshore payroll. This role is responsible for UK and international payroll compliance, including tax, National Insurance and statutory reporting. You will act as the main point of contact for payroll queries, liaise closely with HR and Finance, support audits and forecasts, and ensure all payroll processes meet regulatory and company standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Preparing and processing accurate and timely monthly onshore and offshore payroll.
  • Ensuring full compliance with UK and international payroll tax, National Insurance and statutory regulations.
  • Calculating and applying manual pay adjustments, deductions and salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Producing year-end payroll reports and statutory documents, including P11Ds, P60s and P45s.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries and HMRC matters.
  • Liaising with HR and Finance on new starters, leavers, budgets and payroll reconciliations.
  • Reviewing and processing taxable expenses in line with compliance requirements.
Candidates should have:
  • CIPP qualification or equivalent (preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience in payroll within an offshore, subsea or oil and gas environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NIC and statutory payments.
  • Experience of international payroll and cross-border tax requirements.
  • High level of accuracy with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage heavy workloads and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator, able to work effectively with employees, external providers and senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
