Our Creative Media department is expanding and we are excited to announce that we are looking for an additional team member to join as a Part Time Lecturer in Creative Media.

The Role

Creative Media is delivered as a specialism within the Media department. Courses are delivered within a specialist creative environment.

The Media Production provision seeks a highly motivated Creative Media specialist to deliver UAL Level 2 and 3 Creative Media Production and Technology qualifications.

The post will involve course leadership, curriculum planning, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the College curriculum in the areas of Media and Film up to Level 4.

Main Duties for this role
  • Teach on a range of Creative Media unit at all levels, including curriculum design, preparation of schemes of work, lesson plans, lesson delivery, assessment and marking of coursework.
  • Undertake responsibilities including pre-course assessment, induction and review of progress and assessment.
  • Participate in and contribute to curriculum development and review, including the development, marketing and introduction of new courses.
  • Contribute to all quality assurance requirements relating to the course programmes on which you teach.
  • Take personal and professional responsibility for keeping up-to-date in the subject area.
