Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Health & Safety Manager for a part-time 12-month fixed-term role. The successful candidate will develop and oversee HSE standards at a busy manufacturing site, requiring strong compliance knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential, along with a NEBOSH Certificate. The expected salary is between £45,000 and £50,000 pro rata.

Qualifications

• Proven HSE experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Confident in audits, risk assessments, and regulator engagement.
• Excellent influencing and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor HSE programmes to ensure compliance.
• Lead safety audits and drive corrective actions.
• Act as the key HSE contact for stakeholders.
• Champion safety initiatives and compliance.
