HR Consultant (Part-Time, 6-Month Contract)

An innovative organisation in the design and engineering sector is seeking a part-time HR Consultant to support the team on a 6-month fixed-term basis. The business is focused on driving transformation, embracing emerging technologies, and delivering high-quality outcomes across its projects.

This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with expertise in Learning & Development, Performance & Calibration, and Job Evaluation & Architecture.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the HR manager and senior leaders across three key project areas:

  • Job Evaluation & Architecture – Assess the current structure and design a forward-thinking job framework.
  • Learning & Development – Design and deliver core L&D programmes including leadership training, CPD sessions, and soft skills development.
  • Performance & Calibration – Coordinate the end-of-year review process, support calibration sessions, and provide guidance to senior stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Supporting complex employee relations cases as needed.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance people processes and efficiency.
