A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking to hire an experienced part-time housekeeper for their large home in Highgate. The household consists of a family of five, including three teenagers and a friendly Vizsla dog. This role includes both housekeeping and cooking responsibilities. The candidate should be available to work flexible hours that align with the family's schedule, preferably on weekdays (Monday to Thursday). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised home, preparing meals, and assisting with various household activities.

Duties to include:

  • Cleaning, laundry, and ironing

  • Changing bed linen

  • Keeping the house organised

  • Managing local appointments, bookings, deliveries, errands, and simple administrative tasks

The ideal candidate should possess strong time management skills and be able to effectively balance various tasks. Experience in supporting older children is preferred, and a positive attitude towards dogs is essential.

The client values reliability, proactivity, organisation, and effective communication, along with a professional yet warm demeanour. Candidates with over five years of experience in private households and excellent references, particularly in caring for teenagers and dogs, are preferred. While having a valid UK driving license is ideal, it is not a mandatory requirement. However, being a confident driver in London is preferred, as a family car (automatic) will be provided primarily for child-related trips and errands.

Candidates must have a DBS check and First Aid certificate, or be willing to obtain them.
