Job summary

A growing financial services firm in west Berkshire is seeking a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (approx. 22.5 hours per week). The role involves managing accounts, oversight of cashflow forecasting, and payroll submission, with a salary of £55-60k FTE. Candidates should be friendly, team-oriented, and comfortable with taking ownership of the finance function. The position is fully on-site; access to a car is necessary due to the rural location.

Qualifications

  • Experience of jobs costing is ideal but not essential.

Reed Finance are partnered exclusivelywith a repeat client in west Berkshire to recruit a new Finance Manager on a part-time basis.The business has grown considerably over the past 20 years' operating across the UK and committing to a quality service to their customers, and this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing market leader with a fantastic company culture, reporting into the MD and managing an Accounts Administrator.

Hours worked are circa 22.5 per week, worked as you like, anytime between the opening hours of 7am and 5pm. Please note this role is fully on-site and due to the rural location of the offices you will need to have access to a car (there is ample free parking).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management Accounts
  • Review P&L
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Cashflow management/forecasting
  • Checking and submission of payroll
  • Oversight of AP and Sales ledger
  • HMRC Returns

Experience of jobs costing is ideal but not essential, as is experience using XERO.

This role is open to those fully qualified or qualified by experience, you must be used to a broad remit and be happy to get stuck in at all levels, thriving in a team environment. As a person you will be friendly and happy working closely with others with the ability to take ownership of the business's finance function and being the main person accountable in Finance.

Salary offered is £55-60k FTE
