Job summary

A progressive nursery in the United Kingdom is seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their team part-time (18.5 hours per week). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and fostering children's emotional and cognitive development. Ideal applicants will possess a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and relevant experience in early years settings. Qualifications

  • Must possess a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education.
  • Should have previous experience working in an early years setting.
  • Must demonstrate good literacy, numeracy, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
  • Support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through play.
  • Keep clear records of children’s progress and learning journeys.
  • Promote positive behaviour and self-esteem.
  • Work closely with parents/carers to build strong relationships.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.

Skills

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education
Previous experience in an early years setting
Good standard of literacy, numeracy, and written communication
