Overview

Due to ongoing demand and growth, we are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in East Gravesend (Shorne, Higham, Cobham & Chalk) as a Care Professional. As a Care Professional, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Professional. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful, and you will enjoy building professional relationships and being comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day care responsibilities can include: assisting with personal care (helping your client wash and dress); meal preparation and light housework; accompanying your client to appointments; companionship.
• Care visits of one hour or more to ensure you can care without feeling rushed and have time to get to know your client.

Qualifications

• No specific qualifications required; full training provided.
• Full driving licence with access to a vehicle essential to support clients and available to work alternate weekends.
