Qualifications

Part Qualified Accountant

Our client is a long-established firm of Accountants based in Sandwich.

Candidates should have a good academic background with a willingness to learn new skills and to grow in their role. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential.

They are looking for an ambitious individual with a minimum of two years practice experience, aiming to further and strengthen their career. Ideally, you will be AAT level 3 qualified or studying ACCA. QBE will also be considered.

Overview
  • Preparation of sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts.
  • Preparation of personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns.
  • Preparation of VAT and CIS returns, along with processing payroll and pensions as required.
  • Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage 50, and VT.
  • BTC Practice Software experience is an advantage; training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Correspondence with clients and agencies such as HMRC.
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP, ideally FRS102 and FRS105.

Opportunities for career development through training and continued professional development courses are available.

You will work as an effective team member to ensure all client deadlines and requirements are met. The position is full-time, hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, with the possibility of hybrid working after probation.
