Job Description

We are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team in Farnborough, Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional to play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, while supporting projects and collaborating across the business.

You will be required to work 3 days per week from our Farnborough office and 2 days per week from home.

To be considered, applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of core accounting processes and contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting. You will also work closely with project and cost centre managers to ensure financial integrity across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with project and cost center managers.
  • Maintain and update master data in SAP B1 and Tagetik, ensuring proper financial reconciliation, including balance sheet, intercompany, and timesheet management.
  • Approve bank payments and freelancers\' invoices, and accurately report taxable benefits to HMRC, including P11Ds and PSA.
Qualifications
  • Either part-qualified or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience in a similar financial/accounting role.
  • Proficiency in SAP B1 or similar financial systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams.
