Part Qualified (or Trainee) Accountant – Vibrant Accountancy Practice – London

They are looking for a part qualified or trainee accountant to join their exciting team.

To meet the demands of the modern music industry, they see their business expanding even further. They are looking to employ greater numbers of staff during this period of growth.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of accounts (including limited company accounts, management accounts, partnership and sole trade accounts) to be reviewed by Managers / Directors
  • Accurate recording of all financial transactions through ledger postings, nominal journals, bank reconciliations etc
  • Preparation and submission of VAT, Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns to HMRC
  • Submission of annual Confirmation Statements to Companies House
  • Assistance with preparation of year end statutory accounts
  • Helping with the production of monthly management accounts and other ad hoc financial reporting
  • A range of other ad hoc duties to help support the team and our clients
Applicant
  • Part-qualified (or graduate) with previous experience of working within practice
  • Self-driven, results orientated and with a positive outlook
  • Have a strong desire to learn and develop
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have strong IT skills with accounting software experience (must also be competent in Excel)
