Overview

Contract Type: Permanent

Working hours: 36 hours per week with potential overtime. Typical attendance: Monday, Thursday, Friday 09:00 - 18:00 and Saturday 09:00 - 17:00.

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Solent, Kites Croft Business Park, Solent, PO14 4LW

Starting salary of £24,268 (£12.23 per hour) increasing to £26,758 (£13.49 per hour) on completion of a 6 month probation period. Plus, an additional supplement of £842 per annum pro rata, night shift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week).

You could earn a total package of circa £30,000 per annum, including excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week with overtime).

Responsibilities
  • Plan your delivery route and carry out safety checks on your vehicle at the start of your day.
  • Collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
  • Deliver items ranging from birthday presents to essential business information.
About you
  • Naturally friendly, positive, proactive, and seeking a long-term career in an ambitious and growing company.
  • A brilliant team player who builds good relationships and seeks the best results for customers.
  • Able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30 kg.
  • Full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B).
  • Clean licence preferred but not required; licence should not have more than 6 penalty points. You will be required to show your licence at assessment.
