The Role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a busy and growing financial planning department. In this role, you will provide high‑quality research, analysis, and report writing to support Financial Consultants and ensure an exceptional client experience. You will also play a key part in supporting, guiding, and developing more junior team members, contributing to a knowledgeable and cohesive paraplanning function

Responsibilities of the Paraplanner:

• Research, prepare, and produce detailed financial planning reports across investments, pensions, trusts, and later‑life planning.
• Conduct cashflow modelling and technical analysis to support client recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records and progress client cases using the firm’s back‑office systems.
• Liaise with clients and providers, ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes.

Requirements of the Paraplanner:

• DipPFS (or equivalent) and ideally 2–3 years of experience in a similar paraplanning role.
• Strong knowledge of investments, pensions, IHT planning, and investment propositions.
• Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to teamwork.
• Competent IT skills, including familiarity with financial planning research tools and cashflow software.
