A law firm in Clapham is seeking a proactive Paralegal to support lawyers on client matters and administrative tasks. The role requires prior paralegal experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe. The successful applicant will manage their workload effectively while holding high standards of work. Duties include preparing legal bundles, liaising with court officials, and assisting with office administration. Candidates with a demonstrable interest in family law and a strong drive to succeed are encouraged to apply.
Full time, in office, 12-month fixed term contract, based primarily in our Clapham office, immediate start, competitive salary and benefits.
THE ROLE: The successful candidate will support the firm’s lawyers on day-to-day client matters and administrative tasks. Paralegals are responsible for managing their own workload and keeping solicitors informed of their capacity and availability to complete additional tasks.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT: The successful candidate will ideally have prior paralegal experience in a busy firm and have completed the LPC or BTC, where applicable. They will also have knowledge of the intermediate features of Microsoft Office applications and Adobe. The role involves a number of responsibilities and, therefore, we are looking for proactive candidates with drive and enthusiasm. The successful candidate should be able to manage their workload and prioritise effectively. The firm holds itself to high standards and candidates applying for this position should work with the same ethos.
They will have a demonstrable interest in family law. The successful candidate will be encouraged to attend internal training and seminars, as well as external networking events.
