The Team

Our Legal Delivery Centre (LDC) is a flexible and scalable paralegal resource for use across all of our UK, Ireland and Middle East offices and across the full spectrum of legal services. Meeting the ever-increasing demands for disaggregated legal services, the LDC offers an exciting opportunity for development and the chance to undertake chargeable work that is challenging and engaging.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support with company secretarial and corporate governance matters.
  • Maintain statutory registers and ensure accurate record-keeping using company secretarial software (e.g. GEMS).
  • Prepare and file documents at Companies House, including annual confirmation statements, director changes, share allotments, and other statutory filings.
  • Assist in drafting board and shareholder resolutions and minutes.
  • Monitor and support compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams as necessary.
  • Support ad hoc projects and internal process improvements related to company secretarial matters as required.
Required experience, skills, and attributes

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a company secretarial or corporate paralegal role, ideally in a professional service, corporate, or in-house environment.
  • Sound knowledge of UK company law and Companies House filing requirements.
  • Familiarity with company secretarial systems and online filing platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
