Shift Pattern: Night Shift - 10 : 00pm to 6 : 00am

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a busy and well-established manufacturing facility based in Kings Norton. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity operating on a night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to plastic components, ensuring products meet strict quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare components for painting, including cleaning, masking, and inspection
  • Operate spray equipment to apply primers, base coats, and finishes to plastic parts
  • Ensure paint application meets required specifications for colour, thickness, and finish
  • Monitor and maintain paint quality throughout the process
  • Carry out visual quality checks and identify defects or imperfections
  • Follow all health & safety, quality, and environmental procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organised spray booth and work area
  • Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Complete basic production and quality records as required
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience working with plastic components or automotive parts is highly desirable
  • Good understanding of spray painting techniques and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working night shifts
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
