Job summary

A recruitment agency in Shoreham-by-Sea is seeking an experienced wet paint sprayer to work in their dedicated paint shop. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in wet spray painting, preferably from an automotive or aerospace background. The role involves preparing and finishing painted products while adhering to health and safety regulations. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:45.

Job description

Our Engineering client is looking for an experienced wet paint sprayer to work in their dedicated paint shop as part of a team and to prepare, and finish painted products.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Wet Spray painting from an automotive or engineering/aerospace environment.
  • Familiarity with various types of paint, solvents, and coatings.
  • To be proficient in the use of the cleaning, preparation and paint spray equipment (use of Pneumatic tools).
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to paint spraying.
  • To be familiar with Data Sheets of all products used in the paint areas to identify possible health hazards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
WORKING HOURS

07:00 - 15:45 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 11:30 Friday.
